Client brief: With multiple stakeholders involved in the project the client required a single point of contact to ensure smooth communication, clear decision-making, and timely delivery of their salon refurbishment.

Our role: We created the interior design and carried out the entire refurbishment in-house. Our team handled all aspects of the project, including structural upgrades and restoration, ensuring the client’s vision was realised without disruption.

Project specification: A full refurbishment across three floors, including complete electrical and plumbing works, the creation of a new toilet area, restoration of original sash windows, and the refurbishment of an existing metal spiral staircase. The scope also included updating finishes throughout to achieve a balance between modern functionality and preserved character.

Notable project aspects: Historic features such as the spiral staircase, sash windows, and oak flooring were carefully restored while introducing contemporary design elements to create a cohesive and stylish space.

Challenges: The metal spiral staircase limited the ability to transport materials to the upper floors. To ensure safe and efficient movement of materials, we created temporary access hatch points that allowed controlled loading and prevented damage to the building.
